LINEUP ANALYSIS: The last-minute addition of Abreu (signed as a free agent on the eve of spring training) was critical for the Angels, adding two important elements to their lineup -- a left-handed bat with a high on-base percentage. Abreu's addition takes some pressure off young players Kendrick and Morales to make up for the losses of Mark Teixeira and Garret Anderson. If Kendrick stays healthy, he could be a prime factor at the top of the lineup, setting the table for the middle of the order, once again anchored by Guerrero.
