NOTES
The Jays were forced to alter their batting order for last night's game. 1B Lyle Overbay suffered an injury the night before, prompting manager Cito Gaston to remove him from the game and insert Kevin Millar in his place. Millar batted fourth, which gave the Jays three consecutive right-handed hitters vs. New York RH Joba Chamberlain (Overbay, the regular No. 4 hitter, bats left.
Overbay injured a finger on his left hand while fielding a ground ball and is listed as day-to-day, but could possibly miss several games.
Jays are one of 14 teams under .500 in the bigs this season, but are the only one of the 14 to have scored more runs than they've allowed, 641-633.
