ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Scott Kazmir has been scratched from his scheduled start for the Los Angeles Angels, who want to give their new left-hander a little extra rest for the postseason.Sean O'Sullivan replaced Kazmir about two hours before the Angels faced the Rangers on Tuesday night. Los Angeles clinched its sixth playoff berth in eight seasons Monday with an 11-0 win over Texas.Although Kazmir has just a 1-2 record to show for it, he has been largely outstanding in five starts with the Angels since arriving Aug. 28 in a trade with Tampa Bay. Kazmir has a 2.01 ERA in his 31 1-3 innings with Los Angeles, but has received just eight total runs of support.
He's expected to be in the Angels' playoff rotation next week.
